For the past seven years, we’ve successfully offered affordable childcare through the Non-Profit $25 a day pilot project in High River.
We are now part of the new Alberta/Federal Child Care Agreement, which reduces fees for families, and we await further federal announcements as we work toward the $10 a day childcare goal.
Our advisory board consists of six dedicated members, including business professionals, early learning experts, and parents. Together, we bring a wealth of knowledge and insight that strengthens and enhances the quality of our programs.
At Daydreams, we are guided by the principles of Alberta's FLIGHT Curriculum and the Learning through Play philosophy. We believe that children are capable, curious learners, and our environments are designed to reflect this by fostering exploration, inquiry, and co-learning.

At Daydreams, we are guided by the principles of Alberta's FLIGHT Curriculum and the Learning through Play philosophy. We believe that children are capable, curious learners, and our environments are designed to reflect this by fostering exploration, inquiry, and co-learning.
Our environments are thoughtfully designed with the belief that the environment is the third teacher. Every space—indoors and outdoors—is intentionally created to provoke curiosity, inspire creativity, and invite children to engage in meaningful experiences.
Outdoor Environments
We recognize the importance of nature in learning, and our outdoor spaces bring together both programs, enhancing the children's connection to the natural world. With five distinct outdoor areas, including gardens, forests for small world play, construction zones, mud kitchens, and sensory exploration areas, children are encouraged to engage in open-ended play that nurtures their physical, social, spiritual and cognitive development.
Advantages of an Early Learning and Child Care Centre
Being in an Early Learning and Child Care Centre provides children with rich opportunities for brain development, social experiences, and emotional support. Our professional and consistent educators offer a nurturing, responsive environment that promotes healthy relationships and emotional well-being.
Engaged Families and Educators
We also recognize the importance of providing welcoming spaces where families and educators can come together. These environments support collaborative learning, community-building, and a sense of belonging for all involved.
In all that we do, Daydreams is committed to creating an environment where children, educators, and families thrive together as co-learners, celebrating curiosity and the joy of learning through play.
